Pradeep Kariyawasam to remain SL Insurance Chairman

Pradeep Kariyawasam is likely to retain his post as Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Limited, Adaderana reliably learns. A well known figure at executive managerial level, Mr. Kariyawasam is the husband of Supreme Court Justice Shirani Bandaranayake.

Holding a certificate in marketing from CIM (UK) and with an experience of over a decade and a half at senior managerial level Mr. Kariyawasam has been Chief Executive Officer and General Manager at Unimo Enterprise, United Motors Lanka (Ltd) and Browns Group of Companies. He is also a Director of the Apollo Hospitals (Lanka Hospitals Ltd) Colombo and has functioned as a consultant in business and project management.
