Man hacked to death in Slave Island

A person has reportedly been hacked to death with a sharp weapon at Dawson Street in Slave Island, Colombo 02.

The incident had occurred late last night (16) while the victim has been identified as a 50-year-old by the name of Mohamed Siyabdeen, a resident of Slave Island. 

Police said preliminary inquiries have revealed that the murder had been carried out over a personal dispute.
