At least 23 houses gutted in fire in Grandpass

At least 23 houses were gutted in a fire that erupted at Kajimawatte in Grandpass, Colombo.

The fire broke out inside one of the houses early this morning and spread to the nearby houses, completely destroying them.

Seven fire trucks were deployed to douse the flames, according to the fire brigade of the Colombo Municipal Council.

The cause of the fire is yet to be uncovered.
