Dozens including children hospitalized after being struck by lightning

Multiple people who were attending the final rites of a funeral have been struck by lightning this evening (March 26).
The incident has taken place in the area of Beminiwatte in Mawanella.
According to the police, at least 25 people were rushed to the Mawanella Hospital following the incident.
