Price of cement goes up

The price of a locally-manufactured and imported 50kg bag of cement has been increased by Rs. 500, Ada Derana learns.
Thereby, the revised price of a cement bag now stands at Rs. 2,350.
In mid-March, the price of cement was hiked by Rs. 350 per 50kg bag, pushing the total price to Rs. 1,850.
