Police fire tear gas at protesters near Carlton House

Police have used tear gas and water cannons to disperse protesters near the Carlton House in Tangalle. 

A group of people had been engaging in a protest near the Carlton House since this morning (04) against the government and demanding solutions to the economic crisis.
