Over 60 arrested for selling fuel without authorized licenses

Raids are in progress across the country to apprehend people who sell fuel without authorized licences, Sri Lanka Police said.

According to a statement issued by the police media unit, a total of 68 individuals, who were involved in such misconduct, are under arrest at present.

Reportedly, 8,025 litres of petrol and 726 litres of diesel were taken into custody during the raids.
