Sri Lanka Police website down after cyber attack

The official website of Sri Lanka Police is reportedly down following a cyber attack. 

When inquired by Ada Derana, the police department confirmed this without giving any further details on the cyber attack. 

At the time of writing, the official website of Sri Lanka Police (www.police.lk) still cannot be accessed.
