Protest blocks entry road to Katunayake Airport

The entrance road to the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake from the expressway is blocked at Averiwatta, says Ada Derana correspondent.

Reportedly, the situation is caused by a protest staged in the area.

Passengers departing the island are seen walking to the airport premises.
