Sri Lanka’s reserves continue to dwindle

Sri Lanka maintains Official Reserve Assets at USD 1,827 million as at the end of April 2022. 

Meanwhile the Foreign Currency Reserves were at USD 1,618 million. 

This is a significant drop compared to the March reserves assets which were USD 1,917 million and the foreign currency reserves which were at USD 1,702 million at the end of last month.
