Protest in front of Trincomalee naval base

A protest is currently underway in front of the naval base in Trincomalee. 

The protesters are claiming that former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family members have taken refuge at the navy base and are protesting against that.

Ada Derana reporter said that protest has been continuing for more than four hours now as they suspect Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family have taken shelter at the naval base.
