President Rajapaksa and Ranil hold talks

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has held talks with UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe this evening (May 12).

During the talks, the former Prime Minister has requested the President not to obstruct the protesters at the Galle Face Green.

According to the UNP Media Unit, MP Wickremesinghe and President Rajapaksa have discussed the ongoing crisis situation and the economic turmoil in the country.
