Parliament to debate motion expressing displeasure against President

The political party leaders have decided to convene the next parliamentary session on the 17th of May (Tuesday).

At a special meeting of the party leaders, an agreement has been reached to take up the debate on the motion expressing displeasure against the President, following a special approval by the House.

A party leaders’ meeting chaired by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena was held this morning (12).
