CID records statement from former PM Mahinda

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) recorded a statement from former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa last evening (May 25).

Reportedly, the former Premier has provided a statement with regard to the unrest that unfolded on the 9th of May after the ruling party supporters attacked the anti-government protesters outside the Temple Trees and at the Galle Face Green.
