Chairman of ITN tenders resignation

The chairman of Independent Television Network (ITN), Niroshan Premaratne has tendered his resignation.

The former parliamentarian was appointed to the post on the 3rd of January this year.

A former TV presenter with the state-owned ITN, Mr. Premaratne had contested and won the 2015 parliamentary election from the Matara District. However, he was not re-elected in 2020.
