UNP MP Sajith Premadasa today said that a revolution is about to take place within the UNP. He claimed that the revolution will bring the UNP leadership to the Hambanthota District.

Premadasa stated that by deciding to elect the party leadership through elections the UNP took a revolutionary step.

He added however that he did not want to go behind positions and post but wanted to serve the common people just like his late father. UNP is the only party in Sri Lanka that has an alternative leadership from the Hambanthota District, he claimed.
