June 13 declared a special govt holiday

A Circular has been issued declaring Monday (June 13) as a special government holiday, says the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The decision was taken in view of the Poson Poya falling on the 14th of June (Tuesday).
The communique further states this special government holiday should not be a hindrance to the essential public services.
