One person shot dead in Wattala

An individual was gunned down and killed in a shooting incident in the area of Elakanda in Wattala today (June 14).
According to Ada Derana correspondent, an unidentified gunman who arrived in a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim.
Following the shooting, the victim was rushed to the Teaching Hospital in Ragama where he was pronounced dead.
