Chairman of CAA tenders resignation

The chairperson of the Consumer Affairs Authority, Major General (Rtd) Shantha Dissanayake has tendered his resignation, Ada Derana learns.

His move comes after the chairpersons of Litro Gas Lanka Limited Mr. Vijitha Herath and the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) M.C.C. Ferdinando stepped down from their respective positions earlier this month.
