Price of rice packet and other food items increase by 10%

The price of a rice packet and all other food items will be increased by 10 percent, says the All Ceylon Restaurant Owners’ Association.

The prices will be increased due to the hike in fuel prices announced today, it said. 

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) and Lanka IOC announced that they have increased fuel prices with effect today (June 26).
