Flower Road in Colombo has reportedly been temporarily closed off for traffic by the police in front of the Prime Minister’s Office due to a protest.

Ada Derana reporter said this has caused severe traffic congestion in the area.

The protest near the Prime Minister’s Office was staged against the government of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe over the prevailing situation in the country.

Former MP Hirunika Premachandra had also participated in the protest.
