Reconciliation Committee an international eye wash - UNP

The Reconciliation Committee appointed by President Mahinda Rajapaksa was a mere international eye wash and would serve no purpose, UNP MP Lakshman Kiriella said at a press conference today.

He added that by looking at the track record of the government when it came to such committees suggest that nothing productive will come through this committee.
