July 8, 2022   10:13 pm

Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL) says it has not given directives to restrict telecommunication services in Colombo to voice calls only.

In a statement, the Commission stressed that there is no truth to the document that is currently in circulation.

Reportedly, a fake document widely circulated on social media claimed that the President has instructed to allow only voice communication in the city of Colombo tomorrow due to the planned series of protests.
