Price of bread and bakery products increased

Sri Lanka’s bakery owners announced that the price of bread and other bakery products will be increased with effect from midnight today (12).

Accordingly, the All Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association said the price of a loaf of bread will be increased by Rs. 20 and other bakery products by Rs. 10 from midnight today.

The price of bread had previously been increased in March, April and May this year.
