A derailment has interrupted the trains operating on the Coastal Line today, Ada Derana correspondent says.

As per reports, the ‘Rajarata Rejina’ passenger train, en route from Vavuniya to Beliatta, stalled near the Ambalangoda railway station this afternoon.

Necessary measures have already been taken to put the derailed train back on track in order to restore the railway services on the Coastal Line.
