Bus fares to be slashed?

The National Transport Commission (NTC) states that the normal bus fares will be reduced with effect from midnight today (Aug 04).
The Director General of NTC, Dr. Nilan Miranda explained that the bus fare revision is in accordance with the recent decrease in the price of auto diesel.
The percentage of the price revision would be announced this afternoon, he mentioned further.
