Fire damages textile in lorry

A fire had broken out in a lorry transporting textile to a garment factory in Ratmalana this morning at Meegoda in Padukka, Police said.

 

 

It is believed that an electrical short circuit inside the vehicle may have been the cause of the fire. Part of the textile has been burnt and the loss has not been estimated as yet, according to Police.
