Sri Lanka expecting petrol shipment tonight: Minister

A petrol cargo weighing 35,000 metric tonnes is expected to arrive in Colombo tonight, Minister of Power & Energy says.

According to a tweet from the lawmaker, the unloading process of this fuel shipment is slated to begin tomorrow.

The payment for this petrol cargo was settled yesterday with the assistance of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said further.
