Sri Lanka is a rich country, says Keheliya

The presence of these mineral deposits have been identified by certain vested interests and those countries or powers that are stronger have been and will continue indirectly to pressurize and install governments more sympathetic towards them to exploit these mineral deposits, the Media Minister added.
Similar incidents have been witnessed across the globe. Any country which is in possession of vital resources have been pressurized and sometimes the governments changed and puppet regimes installed to make these activities easier for the vested interests, Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said during his discussions with Adaderana’s 360 programme hosted by Dilka Samanmali.
