Lankan commits suicide in Bahrain

A Sri Lankan female national employed at a furniture shop is reported to have committed suicide by hanging herself.

Diplomatic sources said that she had hung herself at the shop premises and that a personal dispute may have been the cause for her to commit suicide.

She is said to be a resident of Matara.

Inquiries are proceeding and the body will be flown back to Sri Lanka after the end of the procedure, the sources said.
