SLAF operation underway to douse fire at Muthurajawela

Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) has initiated an operation to douse the fire that broke out in the Muthurajawela Wetland reserve at Kerawalapitiya.

The Sri Lanka Air Force spokesman stated that Bell 412 helicopter was deployed for this Bambi Bucket operation.

A fire had erupted in part of the Muthurajawela Wetland reserve last night (Aug 25).
