Beleaguered former Sri Lanka President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is expected to return to the island tonight (Sep 02), Ada Derana learns.

According to sources, Rajapaksa is slated to arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) at around 11.30 p.m. today.
