Prof. Chandana Jayaratne appointed chairman of ACCIMT

Prof. Chandana Jayaratne has been appointed the chairman of Arthur C. Clarke Institution for Modern Technologies (ACCIMT).

He is the Director of the Astronomy and Space Science Unit of the Department of Physics, University of Colombo.

According to reports, Prof. Jayaratne is slated to assume duties in his new position tomorrow.
