Trains delayed on coastal line due to derailment

A train has derailed near the Secretariat Halt Railway Station in Colombo this evening (19), the Department of Railways said.

Trains operating on the Coastal Line are experiencing delays owing to this, the department said, adding that steps are being taken to resolve the situation.
