Derailment interrupts train services on Northern Line

Train services on the Northern Line have been disrupted due to a train derailing at Wellawa.

According to Sri Lanka Railways, trains from Kankesanturai to Colombo Fort have stopped at Maho railway station.

Meanwhile, trains that departed from Colombo Fort on the Northern Line terminated at Kurunegala railway station.
