17 students hospitalized due to food poisoning

At least 17 students of a school in the Pelwatte area of Buttala have been admitted to Wellawaya Base Hospital due to suspected food poisoning.
Ada Derana reporter said that the students had fallen ill after consuming the meals provided by the school, this morning (Oct 05).
Later, the concerned students were immediately taken to the hospital, and they are currently receiving treatments at Wellawaya Hospital.
