UNP MP and media spokesman Gayantha Karunathilake today said that while the government has slashed taxes on luxury vehicles it has failed to deliver the promised increment of Rs. 2500 to Government Servants.
He added that the increment was pledged by the government to be paid from January this year but has failed to give it. Karunathilake added that the general price levels in the country are soaring causing the general public many a difficulty.
