US Assistant Secretary of State, Donald Lu to visit Sri Lanka tomorrow

US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Donald Lu is slated to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow (Oct. 19).

He will be engaging in discussions about US-Sri Lanka relations and the island nation’s economic situation, the US Embassy in Colombo said.

While here, Assistant Secretary Lu will meet with senior Sri Lankan officials to discuss ways in which the United States and Sri Lanka can promote economic stability, regional security, human rights, and responsive, transparent, and inclusive governance.
