Trains delayed on main line due to a breakdown

The Railway Department says that train services on the main line from Colombo Fort have been delayed due to an engine breakdown.  

It said that a locomotive engine had broken down between Fort and Maradana railway stations causing delays in the main line.

The department said that steps are being taken to remove the engine and restore train operations back to normal.
