Revised fees to obtain NICs effective from today

The revised fee system for issuing National Identity Cards (NIC) will be implemented from today (Nov 01).
Accordingly, the fee for issuing an NIC for the first time will be Rs. 200, while Rs. 2,000 will be charged for issuing an NIC through the one-day service.
Meanwhile, the charges for issuing revised copies and duplicates etc., have also been increased.
