Court orders police to record statement from Gotabaya

The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court has ordered the police to record a statement from former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Magistrate Thilina Gamage accordingly ordered the Fort Police to obtain a statement from the former Head of State in connection with the investigations into the sum of Rs. 17.8 million found by protesters inside the President’s House.
