Budget 2023: debate on second reading of Appropriation Bill begins

The Parliamentary session commenced this morning (Nov 15) with the House expected to start the debate the 2023 Budget.

Accordingly, the debate on the second reading of the Appropriation Bill will begin today.

President Ranil Wickremesinghe, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance presented the 2023 budget to parliament yesterday (Nov 14), aimed at creating long-term stable economic growth.
