President Ranil congratulates new Malaysian PM

President Ranil Wickremesinghe has congratulated Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on his new appointment as the Premier, the President’s Media Division reported.

The President, during a telephone conversation this morning, has also expressed his desire to further strengthen economic ties between Sri Lanka and Malaysia, according to the PMD.
