Liquor, cigarette price hike

The government has increased taxes for both local and imported liquor by Rs. 50 per litre, effective from today. Furthermore, cigarette prices too have been increased by Re. 1 each.
The Excise Department also said the tax for wine has also been increased by Rs. 50.
