President of Rotary International arrives in Sri Lanka

President of Rotary International, Jennifer E. Jones, has arrived in Sri Lanka today on a four-day visit. 

A member of the Rotary Club of Windsor-Roseland, Ontario, Canada, Jones was nominated to become Rotary International’s president for 2022-23, making her the first woman to hold that office in the humanitarian service organization’s 115-year history.

She is expected to participate in the “Imagine Tour of Sri Lanka” scheduled to commence on December 14, 2022 organized by Rotary and the Sri Lanka Convention Bureau.
