Mano Ganeshan climbs ‘ladder’ for LG polls

The Democratic People’s Front (DPF) formerly the Western Province Peoples’ Front (WPPF) is to contest the upcoming Local government elections as a single party, said its leader Mano Ganeshan.

Mano Haran Ganesan, former Member of Parliament and who unsuccessfully contested the last General Elections under the United National Front from the Kandy District, said that his party will contest under the ‘Ladder’ symbol at the Local Government polls.

However Mano Ganeshan’s brother Prabha Ganeshan successfully entered Parliament as a member of the DPF contesting under the United National Front at the last elections.
