UNP MP Kabir Hashim today in a exclusive interview to Ada Derana said that the budget the government will be presenting today in parliament is going to be an agenda prepared by the IMF and it will be this agenda that government will run and not that of the voters.
He further stated that ever since the government came in to
power they have been servicing the needs of a different class of people and not
willing to look at the issues and promises that the Mahinda Chinthana
Idiridakma gave to the people.
According to MP Hashim, by increasing the Tax on essential commodities and on the other hand reducing the duty on luxury vehicles and luxury items the government is looking after the interests of a different class of people.
