Dismembered body on rail track

The severed head of a person suspected to have collided with yesterday’s night mail has been found on top of the Allethota Bridge on the Badulla-Colombo rail track in Bandarawela while the body was found under the bridge.

Local resident’s who discovered the morbid scene had reported it to the Bandarawela Police.

Police are conducting further investigation.
