The site is presently maintained by Infotechs (Pvt) Ltd., and hosts a wealth of Golfing information from future Golf Events to Golfer Profiles to Golf Tourism etc. The site also helps Golfers connect worldwide, creating Golfer networks which in turn will promote Golf as a sport locally and internationally. The response so far has been amazing, as technology aids convenience for Golfers with on-line registrations.

Etisalat CEO Dumindra Ratnayaka said in this regard, “Etisalat’s association with Golf will help build Etisalat’s international profile in key markets as it is perceived as a sport associated with skill, patience, precision and discipline; all qualities that we strive to embrace not only in our corporate culture but also in our personal lives. As a company we believe that sports if a vital part of life and this tournament will not only promote talent and sportsmanship but also the opportunity to gain exposure on an international level.” He added, “The Etisalat Golf Classic is a wonderful opportunity for us to establish a Sri Lankan sporting trend in par with international standards which will hopefully become a tradition powering the spirit of healthy competition in years to come.”
