VIDEO: Wimal taken away after President’s arrival

Wimal Weerawansa has been taken away in an ambulance from where he was fasting after the arrival of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The President offered him some water prior to his being taken away.
President Rajapaksa had a few words with the doctors who were present at the scene before Mr. Weerawansa was taken away.

We saw real heroes and sons of mother Lanka at the war front against bloody thirsty LTTE terror. We salute them for ever. Trying to compare Wimal´s comedy you guys insult these real heroes. As some people analyze this is a planned drama and it ended as planned. Lot of people predicted the last scene of this drama from the beginning. Law of the land says attempting to suicide is a panishable offence. Weerawansa contemplated suiciding in public is a criminal offence and must be charged. You can be a minister and that does not give you permission to kill yourself. Minister Pieris clearly said that GOSL will not interfere but let you die. You did not succeed in anything. Your act did not make UN to disolve the penal and/or you did not kill yourself. Authorities must take severe legal action against this criminal

Fasts, protests like this shouldn´t be done to get the approval from the urbanised, but to highlight the long term danger to the mainly rural sinhalese christian and buddhist populations.They hold the deciding vote and that´s what matters with the ever increasing population.Completely ignore the urban vote and fully concentrate on the rural vote.Every effort should be channelled towards exposing and registering in the mind of the people the real truth,ie that this is a problem created by the UNP/JVP/TAMIL DIASPORA and FOREIGNERS BACKING SEPERATISM.There´s no harm in allowing them a little bit of superiority and dominance in the cyber space as long as the long term national interests and aims are safe guarded and achieved in due course.Hence a little bit of this type of protests should be carried out to publicise the imminent danger and keep the pot boiling.
